The AEM department has 13 faculty, 1 instructor and 3 staff members. Additionally, both the College of Engineering Dean and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs are affiliated with the department. The teaching and research interests of the faculty vary over a wide range of topics that support the department’s three concentration areas: solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and dynamics and controls.
